HANCOCK COUNTY — Indiana State Comptroller Elise Nieshalla made the rounds to Hancock County and surrounding areas last week with one message in hand:
“It’s good to be a Hoosier, financially speaking,” she said.
Nieshalla visited the Daily Reporter on Feb. 28, en route to an event in Henry County. She’s making visits in hopes of spreading a message that Indiana is financially fit, and because of that, Indiana has the responsibility to make an effort to address, and join other like states to make national leaders balance, the federal budgets and erase the deficit.
